Dr. Harrison completed his undergraduate degree at Morehouse College. He graduated from the East Carolina University School of Medicine and completed his residency in urologic surgery at Emory University, serving as chief resident.
Dr. Harrison's areas of urologic expertise are prostate cancer and other urologic cancers.
Dr. Harrison is a diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a member of the American College of Surgeons, Atlanta Medical Association (President, 2000, Chairman of the Board 2001), American Urological Association, National Medical Association, and Georgia State Medical Association. He has also served as clinical investigator for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, Glaxo Smith Kline, Bayer Pharmaceuticals, and Men's Health Biotech Company.
Dr. Harrison, a native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, recently served as chief of the division of urological services at Dekalb Medical Center. He is a partner and member of the Executive Board of Georgia Urology.
